Titan, Fastrack, Sonata and Dash! Clocks under
the brand name Titan Synchrony; and Jewellery under the

across Western Europe, the Middle East, South and South East

jewellery manufacturing plants are located in Hosur in the
southern state of Tamil Nadu. Spread over 55,000 square metres
of built-up space, Titan employs about 3000 highly skilled
personnel.
Titan Watches ranked number one in
the Time wear Category and Tanishq in the Jewellery Category at
Images Fashion Awards 2003.
Both Titan and Tanishq were adjudged
the Best brands in the Time wear and Jewellery categories, at
the Images Fashion Awards, held in Mumbai on January 17th. This
award was determined on the basis of a survey carried out among
6000 consumers by ORG Marg.

The Most Respected Consumer Durables
Companies. The Award function was held on January 16th
2003, at The Oberoi Towers in Mumbai and
Mr Bhaskar Bhat received the award. Deputy Prime Minister
Mr L K Advani was the chief
guest.
The survey was conducted among 584
senior professionals (General Managers and above) in Delhi,
Mumbai, Kolkota, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad and
Pune between July and November 2002 and companies were rated on
nineteen pre-selected parameters.
A&M, India's leading magazine on
Advertising & Marketing, rated Titan, 'India's
Most Admired Consumer Durables Company' 7 times in the
last 8 years through nation-wide surveys conducted among
marketing professionals.
The Far Eastern
Economic Review rated Titan, one of 'Asia's
top 200 companies' and 'India's
top 10 companies' from 1994 to 1998.
In a survey conducted by The
Economic Times in the year 2000, Titan was voted the 'Most
Admired Brand' by consumers all over India across 'all
product categories'.
